The Executive Chef has created an exquisite selection of seasonal menus, in a rustic British style, and would be happy to work to guests’ requirements. 3-course lunch menus are priced from £38, and dinner menus from £45, inc VAT. Gino Nardella, the Master Sommelier (one of only 60 in the world), hosts wine tastings and can make them as formal or as informal as you like. The sommelier will happily assist with wine choices for your event, with house wines priced at £28.50 per bottle.

It has lots of natural light, with its recent renovation showcasing a lavish period style complete with original features. The 380-year-old, working Wine Cellars (44 seated, 100 standing) are the ideal setting for entertaining guests and challenging taste buds with some of the finest wines from around the world. Divided into several different areas, the largest section can accommodate up to 44 guests for a seated lunch or dinner. A highlight of the cellar tour is the little-known alcove tucked away in a quiet corner, known as the ‘Better ‘Ole Club’. The museum-style repository overflows with memorabilia left at The Stafford by American and Canadian officers, who called the hotel home during World War II.
