    The Marie Antoinette Suite

Previously a dining room added in the late 1780s, The Music Room (60-70 seated, 120 standing), is the largest room in William Kent House. Today, the fully restored Music Room features slender Adamesque pilasters and an elegant shallow-arched ceiling: a memorable venue for a memorable event. Room hire fees range from £500-£2500*.

    The Music Room

Named after Lord Wimborne, one of the house’s previous owners, The Wimborne Room (16 seated) features a beautiful inlaid mahogany table, and enjoys great views over Green Park. Beneath a ceiling alive with gold leaf and hung with an aristocratic chandelier, rich yellow silk damask lines the walls. Underfoot, the original floorboards have been returned to pristine condition. Room hire fees range from £500-£2500*.

    The Wimborne Room

The most amazing room in a spectacular building, The William Kent Room (15 seated, 24 standing) is a magnificent dining room boasting fine views over Green Park. The decoration is in the Italian Renaissance style, in vogue when the house was built. Restoration has included replicating the delicate ‘fish scale’ pattern in the ceiling, and adding trompe d’oeil panelling around the room. Beneath a breathtaking ceiling, considered to be one of Kent’s greatest works, guests can dine around a magnificent handcrafted mahogany table. Room hire fees range from £2500-£4000*.

    The William Kent Room

A delightful ante-room connecting The Wimborne Room and The William Kent Room, The Queen Elizabeth Room (30 standing) is an elegant drawing room offering space for 30 guests. The restored carpet and the white marble fireplace are original features of the Queen Elizabeth Room, and guests can enjoy stunning views over Green Park. The French Kingwood commodes, subtly modified to double as invisible air conditioning vents, are the room’s more recent additions. Room hire fees range from £1500-£3000*.

    The Queen Elizabeth Room

Previously Lord Wimborne’s bedroom, The Burlington Room (50 seated, 80 standing) was the largest room in the house when it was built. Today, this 1st floor room has a new role as the perfect space for meetings and private receptions. Room hire fees range from £500-£2500*.

*Room hire fees depend on the day of the week, month of year, booking lead time and length of event. No minimum spend is required on top of the room hire fee.
