Featuring the original fireplace and oak panels, it boasts beautiful views of the historic City Walls, and is an ideal venue for daytime events, such as private afternoon tea bookings or evening dinner.
Choose from the 2 AA Rosette-winning Grill Room menu for smaller groups (up to 10 guests), or from the seasonally changing range of private dining menus for larger parties. The positioning of this room makes it ideal to retire to the Grand Bar, or Whisky Lounge, for post-dinner drinks. A room hire charge of £200 is requested for use of this room Sunday to Thursday, rising to £500 on Fridays and Saturdays. Private dining menus start from £45.00 per person.
The Chairman's Suite
The Chairman’s Suite & Grand Boardroom (collectively 100 seated, 100 standing) sit adjacent to each other, and are available for intimate gatherings of up to 32 guests, or up to 100 guests for larger celebrations. Beautiful oak panelling and parquet flooring sets these rooms apart, offering true ‘wow factor’ luxury.
The impressive Grand Boardroom is the perfect space to host a larger dinner party or celebration. Before becoming the 'Grand Boardroom’, this room hosted meetings between the railway elite, and the great and good of Yorkshire businesses.

It now offers an impressive private dining space up to 32 guests, benefiting from wood clad pillars, an ornate fire place and stunning views of the City Walls.
