The lively Kitchen Table (10 seated, 10 standing) is the ideal place to share a relaxed afternoon or evening with friends. The chefs will share the event: bringing food to the table and perhaps carving your main in front of your party. This fun arc-shaped table seats up to 10, with the whole party facing towards the kitchen for a birds-eye view of the brigade.
This spacious table is surrounded by walls of wine in the "engine room" (the kitchen) of the restaurant. The buzz of the kitchen creates a fantastic atmosphere from the intimacy of your own private space. A chef's menu is offered, with your choice of 5 courses (£700) or 8 courses (£900).

The Gilbert Scott main dining room (130 seated, 300 standing) creates a sense of grandeur in a relaxed and informal brasserie-like setting. High ceilings and gilded frames exude a sense of magical charm, while enjoying the vast offerings. The ethos is a relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable service to put you at ease at any time of the day!
Inspired by the wondrous history within the building, the menu reflects British tradition, and great British produce. With a large menu, The Gilbert Scott hope to satisfy all tastes and preferences with their take on nostalgic British classics, as well as interesting seasonal choices.
Occupying the original restaurant space of the Midland Grand Hotel (as it was formerly known), The Gilbert Scott restaurant retains original features such as limestone pillars, and ornate lace-like ceiling details. Minimum spends for exclusive hire vary between £6,000 and £30,000. These are dependent upon the day of the week and the time of the year.
