    Sommelier's Table

    With direct access from the lobby, the bright Carlos Room is set on the ground floor, and can comfortably accommodate up 20 guests. Should you wish, the Head Sommelier will happily offer some advice on wine pairing.

    With regards to the menu, the restaurant can offer the signature lunch of 4, 6 or 9 courses in the Carlos Room (priced at £55, £98 and £120 respectively). Kindly note that menus are highly seasonal and therefore subject to change due to ingredients supply. Naturally, the restaurant is always happy to accommodate any dietary requirements if advised in advance. Please note that all the prices are subject to 12.5% service charge, and a cover change applies at both lunch and dinner.

    The Sommelier’s Table promises a unique and exclusive experience, set in the wonderful cellar of the hotel, offering a unique view of the 6000 vintage wines and accommodating a maximum of eight guests.

    Option 1: Following an initial consultation with the host - and taking into consideration any special preferences - Sommelier will propose an exclusive wine menu and Michelin-starred chef Hélène Darroze will create a dedicated tasting menu to match your selected wines.

    After being personally escorted to the cellar and given a tour by Head Sommelier, the party will be exclusively served by Sommelier and Chef. Guests depart with their own souvenir menu and special gift to remind them of an enjoyable luncheon or evening. The cost of the experience is £1200 inclusive of room hire and chef’s tasting menu. The wines and service charge at 12.5% are an additional cost.

    Option 2: Seasonal Lunch is priced at £150 per person (including 4-course menu, wine, tea/coffee, water and VAT. Service charge of 12.5% will be added to the final bill).

    The restaurant kindly suggests arranging a meeting with the Head Sommelier, in order to show you the cellar and The Sommelier’s Table, and to speak to you in more details about the wines and the menu. Throughout each month at The Connaught's Sommelier's Table, 2 Michelin star French chef Hélène Darroze and Sommelier will create a gourmet lunch menu, offering a pairing of imaginative wines and quality seasonal ingredients reflecting the regions that have inspired Hélène. The Sommelier's Table seats minimum 6 and maximum 8 guests.
