    Unveiled in the autumn of 2012 at one of Scotland’s most magnificent dining rooms at The Caledonian, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, The Pompadour by Galvin (80 seated, 150 standing) showcases cuisine from acclaimed chef brothers, Chris & Jeff. A Grade II-listed room offering views of Edinburgh Castle, The Pompadour maintains various stunning original features, as well as offering a private salon cocktail bar and exquisite hand-painted wall panels.

    Brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin are two of Britain’s most influential chefs. With over 50 years’ experience between them, they have worked in some of London’s most revered kitchens, cooking for royalty, nobility, celebrities and film stars. In 2005 they opened their first restaurant, Bistrot de Luxe on London’s Baker Street, and since have have been applauded by peers and critics alike. They are never more at home than when behind the stoves of their popular and award-winning restaurants - which have garnered Michelin stars, AA rosettes and over 30 top accolades. Minimum spends for hire of the whole restaurant range from £3500 from Sunday to Thursday, and £5500 on Friday & Saturday.

    Situated close to The Pompadour by Galvin, the Trianon by Galvin (20 seated, 30 standing) is the ideal way to experience the Pompadour’s food and service for a business meeting or celebration. Comfortable, convenient and relaxing, it gives you all the luxuries of The Pompadour in your own private space.

    In keeping with the style of The Pompadour, freshly pressed table linen and its pastel colours are swept throughout. Cooking is serviced from The Pompadour, and service is also executed by The Pompadour front of house. The menu will be individually created by the Executive Chef Craig Sandle and his kitchen team, who were awarded 3 AA Rosettes within their first year of opening. The wines can be chosen from a carefully-selected, extensive list of over 240 bins and assistance can be sought from Peter Adshead, the Head Sommelier. With menus been individually created, there is much flexibility, with prices starting at £68 (based on a minimum of 8 diners).
